How to Make a Living Freelance Writing

There are a lot of people that want to make a living online. Many are not sure what they can do to really get what they need for money out of writing. It’s not as hard as you may think and you may just decide that it is really something that will work for you.

 Step 1: Is Writing for You

 Many people will say that they loved writing when they were children and that they would love to do it now. This is great, but what many don’t see is that you will not always write about something that you like. Some clients will have articles that need to be done that are really odd. You will have to know if you still want to write with all of that being said and if you are ok with the idea of writing articles that are not your strength.

 Step 2: Set Up the Office

The office is where you are going to be spending most of your time. This is a good time to really think about the set up and the ease of use. Sometimes the office will not be ideal or you will not have enough room. This can impact productivity. Take the time to set up an office that will really work for you, so that you can work.

Step 3: Equipment

The equipment that you need is pretty easy to come by. Chances are that you already have what you need. A computer is required to do your articles as well as a word processing program. The good thing about the program is that you can find them for free on the Internet with a little looking.

Step 4: Schedules

You need to have a schedule that you can stick with. That way you will be able to work and there will be no trouble with the family. Consider a time when they are busy with other things or when they are sleeping even. All of these times will be up to you and what you want to do. Just keep in mind that if you don’t stick to your schedule, you may be losing time that you could be using to write and you may not make as much money in the long run.

Writing online is a great way to make money, but it is not as easy as everyone likes to think that it is. You will have to really pay attention to what you are doing and to what you are going to need while working. Make sure that this is something that you can and really want to do.

	... I actually made money doing freelance writing online and even with three girls with the fourth one on the way, it is a very flexible job to do anytime of the day whether it is best if the kids are sleeping or keeping each other occupied. It seem to be better than phone jobs though.
