How to Answer the Question “Where Can I Read Whole Books for Free Online?”

Where can I read whole books for free online?  Are you wondering this question?  Maybe you’re bored and looking for free online books to entertain you.  Or, perhaps you’re working on a school project, and you need free online books for reference material.  Either way, don’t fret because finding free online books is easier than you think.  Just follow the steps below.

Step 1: Visit Google Books.  Google Books is an online service that contains a large database of scanned books.  To access this database simply visit the following URL: http://books.google.com/books.

Step 2: Use the search engine at the top of the homepage.  If you have a specific book you’re looking for, enter in the name or the topic in the text box at the top of the homepage.  From there, select “Search Books.”  You will then be directed to all the free online books relating to your query.

Step 3: Browse the homepage.  If you don’t know what to look for, you can use the subjects on the homepage to help you.  Simply select which one is of interest.  From there select “Full View Only” or “Public Domain Only.”  You’ll be shown free online books in their entirety.
