-¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬† A comb with tightly spaced teeth;
-¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬† Several old towels;
-¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬† Detergent; and
-¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬† A washing machine and dryer.
Step 1: Submerse the animal with fleas in water so that their fur is completely wet.
Step 2: Mix two parts water with one part apple cider vinegar.
Step 3: Rub the solution all over the animal, massing the vinegar mixture down to the skin.
Step 4: Rinse the vinegar mixture out of the animal‚Äôs fur. Note that the animal will still smell like vinegar for a little while after the bath.
Step 5: Dry off the animal with towels.
Step 6: Wash the bedding that the animal has been in contact with in a solution of two parts water, one part apple cider vinegar.
Step 7: Wash the bedding in regular detergent and dry it so that the vinegar smell is removed.
Step 8: Repeat as needed when any fleas are spotted on the animal.
