How to Use Herbs to Enhance the Color of Dark or Brunette Hair

Intro:  If you have dark or brunette hair, you can bring out the highlights in your hair by using herbs to make an all-natural rinse.  These herbs will also leave your hair shining, smelling wonderful, and feeling healthy.  In addition, this herbal rinse will not damage your hair light so many hair products that contain harmful chemicals.

Step 1:  Place 1 cup of water, 3 tablespoons of dried sage, and 1 tablespoon dried rosemary in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Step 2:  Remove from heat, cover, and allow to steep for 1 hour.

Step 3:  Add 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar.

Step 4:  Pour in a spray bottle and spray on your hair after shampooing.  Comb through and squeeze out any excess, but do not rinse.

Tips:

•For a quick rinse while in the shower, just steep either fresh rosemary or fresh sage in hot water and then strain.  Pour the herbal water over your hair and rinse as usual.  You will not believe the shine this gives your hair.
