How to Lose Weight by Setting a Timer
Have you ever found yourself eating just out of pure habit? You are standing there doing nothing then suddenly you pop something in your mouth. You can break that habit! And all the extra calories you save by not eating mindlessly will help you lose weight! All you have to do is make a plan and set a timer! Step 1: DECIDE WHEN YOU WANT TO EAT -- Start your day by deciding what time you will eat your meals and your snacks. It does not have to be at certain times. There is no rule that you must eat lunch at noon and dinner at five. You may want to eat 3 meals a day or you may opt for grazing by choosing six smaller meals. Whatever you decide, it's your choice! Just pick some designated times and write them down. Step 2: DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT TO EAT -- Now figure out what you will eat during each eating period. Will it be a meal or a snack? Prepare anything that can be prepared in advance so it's easy to grab when the timer goes off. Step 3: SET YOUR TIMER -- Set your timer for the first eating session. When the timer rings look at your list and eat whatever you are supposed to eat. When you are done set the timer to go off for the next session. Train yourself to only eat at the sound of the timer.
