Believe it or not, people can actually become annoyed with you on Twitter. Even though, most believe that Twitter is filled with nothing but mind-numbing tweets about nothing more than what your eating for breakfast, real discussions are actually occurring. If you have followers, keep them by following a little tweet etiquette.
Constant Tweets About Nothing
It's okay to tell everyone your on the toilet sometimes but not 10 times a day. Try to break up the silly tweets with something more informative or interesting.
Tweets That Are Too Controversial
Your tweets may be too controversial, illicit, or brutal. The delicate at heart may have had a little too much of your twitter brutality.
Tweets That Offer Nothing But Promotional Material
Followers want more information then the latest pair of ice skates you have on sale at your store. Give them useful information about ice skating like ice skating competitions, how to take care of ice skates, etc. The whole point of Twitter is to peak into someone else's affairs minute-by-minute, so give them something to sink their teeth into everyone once and a while.
