How to Firm And Strengthen Your Arms, Shoulders And Chest

A lot of people can't get into push ups and a lot of times push ups can cause injury if not done correctly.

The exercise I am about to share with you will strengthen and firm your arms, shoulders and chest much better and quicker then push ups will.

How to Firm And Strengthen Your Arms, Shoulders And Chest without using weights

1. Prepare by making sure you are barefoot and not wearing hose. (Non-slippery)

Find something sturdy to hold onto such as a kitchen or bathroom counter.
Stand about 2 feet in front of the counter with your feet flat on the floor and about shoulder width apart.

2. Without bending your knees, lean forward and place your hands flat on the top of and at the edge of the counter.

Grab onto the edge with only your thumb to keep your hands from sliding Your hands should be as far apart as and even with your feet.

3. Hold your back completely straight with your stomach muscles tight and held in.

Don't tighten your buttocks or any other part of your body, just your stomach.
Keeping your back straight and your stomach held in, drop your body slowly toward the counter until your chest almost touches it. Your elbows should be bent at this point and your heels should have come off the floor. (if not you're standing too close to the counter)

4. Next straighten your arms completely, returning to the original position

immediately lower your body back toward the counter again. Keep your arms working together so the weight of your body is evenly distributed on your arms.

In the beginning do only 10 repetitions. You can increase up to 20 reps. if you are strong enough. This exercise should take only about 30-75 seconds.
