Which is better… free birthday cards that sing, or free printable birthday cards?  Well, both don’t require any money, which is good on your end.  However, if you want your recipient to be more entertained, I would stick with the former category.  I mean, how can you beat free birthday cards that sing?  Plus, if you follow the steps below, you’ll find that locating them is really no different than finding any other birthday e-card, (which is what they are in actuality).

Step 1: Visit Audiocard.com.  Audio Card uses a simple interface for emailing free birthday cards that sing.  All you have to do is select the image you want, followed by whatever song you want.  From there, you enter in your message and your recipient’s email information.

Step 2: Use 365Greetings.com.  This site doesn’t really offer a plethora of free birthday cards that sing.  In fact, it only offers one.  However, it does offer several customization options, so you’re not stuck with their standard birthday e-card.

Step 3: Pick cards from the Birthday Song section of 123Greetings.com.  When it comes to free birthday cards that sing, this site contains some of the best.  Of course, you don’t have any customization options like some of the other sites, but the music and singing are of superior quality, especially considering it’s free.

Tip:  If you don’t mind signing up for a free trial and/or paying a small fee, there are services that will customize the actual singing component of your birthday e-card.  For example, Birthdaycards.com will allow you to record your own voice to a birthday e-card in return for a free trial subscription.  And the site HappyBirthdaytoYou.com will use professional singers to create a song that contains your unique message.

Warning:  Free birthday cards that sing might not work if your recipient doesn’t have Flash, Java or other scripting programs.  And if the recipient doesn’t have these plug-ins, the e-card may prompt them to install it.  So, always make sure it’s clear that the e-card is coming from you, (so the recipient doesn’t think the e-card is spam).
