How to Earn Money by Writing Articles on Firehow

There are many ways you can become successful on Firehow. By commenting, writing more articles, bringing traffic to your articles, keywords, rating other people and other things you can do to help raise your earnings each day.

Commenting: By checking out other peoples work, and commenting – you are building your reputation and getting more exposure. I encourage positive comments because it really makes the other person feel good about their work. Who knows, you may even gain a new friend.

Ratings: When you leave someone a comment, always rate them. Try not to leave a negative rating for anyone unless you really didn’t like the article. For me, I only rate my favorite articles that I’ve read and also leave a comment.

Connections: Making friends is another good way of getting a few more views. Although it won’t be a lot of views, if you make friends with many people – your views will eventually add up.

Writing new articles: This is very important. The more articles you write – the more earnings you will receive. Try to set a goal so you can write at least 5 articles a day. By the end of the month, you will have a total of 150 articles from all your hard work and become an expert member! Expert members are featured in Firehow’s community and they get more traffic than regular members.

Write about stuff in demand: Search for ideas on Google to find a topic that isn’t widely discussed. Something that is slightly rare would be good. Always pay attention to the top right hand side when your searching. It will say something like “Results 1-10 of about 665,000”. This is telling you how popular the topic is. I usually don’t use this method thought. I prefer using the WordStream tool and you can too.

Keywords: Without good keywords, you won’t earn very well. I learned this the hard way. In order for your site to show up in rankings, you need to choose the correct keywords. Use Google Adwords Keyword Tool. They have a detailed stats of everything. I usually pick any keyword with a Global Monthly Search Volume of 1,000-5,000. Why are my numbers so low? Simply because I want my article to show up better. I don’t mind if not many people search for it each month, but it’s better than being in  really competitive searches.
