This article is about how to lift someone out of a bath tub but you can also use this teckquice for other things like lifting someone off the floor into a chair or a bed or you could use this to lift someone into a tub. In an emergency you can use this lift to help get someone out of the house in a hazardous environment.

Step one is to find a sheet or blanket or bed spread or tie two long beach towels together.

Stet two- Take the sheet or blanket or bedspread and start rolling it from the corner and continue to roll into a long snake like shape.

Step three- Place the middle of the snake like roll behind the person’s neck and then drape it forward in front of the person

Step four- Cross the two rolls snugly in front of the person’s neck

Step five After crossing the two rolls snugly in front of the person’s neck put both rolls underneath the person’s armpits. One roll under one armpit and the other roll under the other armpit.

Step six- Next grab both of the rolls in back of the person with both hands and begin to lift. Remember to use your legs to lift with and not your back. If someone is nearby call them to help you.
