I always like going to church on Sundays and having a good time worshiping and listening to the pastor. The pastor of a church has a lot of responsibilities that he must fulfill and follow through with. Sometimes our pastor needs a little appreciation or just a thank you.

1 Pray for your pastor and those who are church leaders.

2 Send him a note of thanks, encouragement and be sincere and mention how a particular sermon may have encouraged you. By sharing your encouragement that he gave you in a sermon will make him feel appreciated.

3 Ask your pastor if you can be of any service to him or the church. Way of being a service to your pastor or church is to volunteer to teach Sunday school, set in a nursery watching infants, or cleaning the church.

4 if you feel the need to give out criticism don’t. If you hear criticism or negative comments about the church, pastor or leadership, reply back with a positive response.

5 Listen and be responsive during a sermon by saying some encouraging words like amen, preach it, praise God, tell it like it is, or by just simply raise your hands and wave the in the air and say halleluiah.

6 Surprise him and ask him and his family out for lunch or give him a be responsive during a sermon for dinner out.

The bible says we are never to speak down on our pastors. We are to love them and give them support when it is needed. Remember, he is feeding God's little sheep.I love to read articles like this one. 5*
