Here is one of my FAVORITE chili recipes! It works out so well in the crock pot, which is one of my favorite kitchen items! My whole family goes wild over it. It tastes even better the next day!

Things You'll Need:

2 Tbs. olive oil

1 lb. Ground Turkey 1 clove of garlic

1 medium onion (chopped)

2 green peppers (chopped)

1 diced jalepeno pepper (optinal)

1 15oz can tomato sauce

1 15oz can red kidney beans

1 15oz can chopped tomatoes (with juice)

2 tsp ground cumin

2 tsp chili powder

Step 1

Brown the ground turkey and the chopped clove of garlic in olive oil, drain and put in crock pot.

Step 2

Chop up the onion, peppers and place on top of meat in crock pot. You can add some chopped jalapeno peppers here, if you like a spicy chili.

Step 3

Pour the sauce, tomatoes and beans in, too, with all of the juices. I never drain the beans for this recipe, and I think the liquid is important for this dish. Finish with Seasonings, be liberal on the chili powder!

Step 4

Stir it all up, and let it cook in the crock pot on high for about 4 hours, 7-8 hour on low. This can be frozen, too, and it thaws out great!
