We all know people who try to fit everyone into their little box, their "how to" box, their box of rules. If someone they meet or have to work with doesn't fit into their mold, then they become judgmental and closed up. Here are some ways to combat that and appreciate that we are all different and unique.

Realize that God made us all different for a reason. Life would be boring if we were all alike. It's time to step outside the box and appreciate that differences can bring uniqueness and beauty to any situation.

Know that not everyone lives their life the way you do. We all are raised differently, come from different cultures and have different belief systems. It doesn't make someone a bad person because they don't fit in your box. My exception here would be if a person's beliefs and "way of life" harm or hurt another person.

Our differences can bring a variety of freshness and ideas to the table. Be willing to listen to other's ideas and ways. You may learn something, you may get an answer to a problem you need to solve. Think outside your box today, there may be a whole new world waiting to explore!
