How to Feel Secure

In today’s world with the crime rate increasing every year and the threat of terrorism by unknown forces. If thinking about your personal security isn’t enough you have to think about the security of your bank accounts and credit cards with identity theft. Now think about how secure is your job will you be the next person to get laid off? If you get laid off what about your retirement or how will you pay for health insurance or pay your monthly mortgage. Now how secure do you feel after reading the first part of this paper.

1-The only security that you and I have is in Jesus Christ.

The bible says we are free from condemnation. (Romans. 8:1-2)

2-You are secure that God works all things work together for good to them that love God. (Romans 8:28)Now if you read the above statement closely at the end of the sentence it says to them that love God. This tells me if you do not love God or obey his commandments then you are not secured by his protection.

3-Know that you are complete in Christ. (Colossians 2:10)

The statement above should make you feel secure if you know Jesus Christ as your savior and provider. If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your savior and provider then you need to ask him into your life so you will be secure.
