Bagged Omelets

Intro: Omelets are a great way to start the day and it allows moms to know her family is getting everything they need to start off healthy. The one draw back is the time and skills it takes to make an omelet. Most people will avoid making omelets all together after a few failed attempts. With a few simple steps you can now have great tasting omelets that will look and taste like a professional cook made them. Another great feature is that you don't have to stand over your omelets while they cook hoping they look good when your done.

Things You'll Need:

2 Eggs 1 Zip loc Sandwich Bag, Sprinkle Cheese, Diced Ham, Butter, Salsa

Step 1:

Begin by bringing a pot of water to a boil. While water is heating begin preparing eggs.

Step 2:

Crack two eggs into your zip loc sandwich bag and discard the shells.

Step 3:

You will need to seal the sandwich bag and scramble the eggs by shacking or gently massaging the eggs. Just enough to mix them.

Step 4:

Now add any ingredients you would like in your omelet. I use one small spoon of butter, two spoons of ham, two spoons of sprinkle cheese, and half a spoon of salsa.

** You can use anything you would like in your omelets.
** Amounts are for suggestion only. Use your personal preferences to make you unique omelet!

Step 5:

Once you have added all the ingredients reseal the zip loc bag and miss again by shacking or gently massaging the ingredients.

** When you reseal the bag remove as much of the excess air as possible.

Step 6:

Once your egg bags are prepared and you water is to a full rolling boil gently place the sealed zip loc bags into the water.

** Be care not to burn your self on the hot water!

Step 7:

Allow the eggs to cook in the boiling water 13 minutes (less time if you prefer "soft" omelets).

Step 8:

Carefully remove the bagged omelets from the boiling water. Remove the omelet from your zip loc bag and you are ready to eat!
