They need to cover their nose or cough into their arm to prevent the spread of germs. 3.Have you child use hand sanitizer and teach them to wash their hands after every trip to the restroom. Teaching proper hand washing is important as well. It should with warm water, amount of soap equal to about the size of a dime, and for the length of time you can say your ABC's. 4.Keep your child home if they are sick. I know this is difficult sometimes, but you would want someone else to offer the same courtesy. Preventing the spread of the virus is the ultimate defense.
