If you love Reeses peanut butter cups like I do, then you have to try this mouth watering dessert made with icecream and toppings. You will need the following items to make a delicious Reeses peanut butter icecream treat: 1. Vanilla Icecream preferably regular but you can choose country vanilla. If you are lactose intolerant, Breyer's Icecream has a lactose free vanilla icecream. 2. Reeses Peanut Butter Cups; depends on how well you like Reeses Peanut Butter Cups; You can purchase a single pack, or if you want more try the new double peanut butter cups. The more the better. 3. Peanut Butter and Hot Fudge Topping such as Hershey's Hot Fudge Chocolate 4. Whipped Cream preferably in a can not a tub like Cool Whip To begin making your Reeses Peanut Butter Icecream Treat, add two scoops of icecream to a bowl. Add two tablespoons of peanut butter to a microwaveable bowl and microwave on high for approximately thirty seconds, depending on your microwave heat settings. Some microwaves are different from others. Remove the peanut butter from the microwave and allow at least a minute to cool Pour on top of the icecream being careful not to spill on the counter. Add a jar of Hershey's fudge topping to the microwave following the instructions on the back of the jar. Be careful not to burn yourself while removing anything from the microwave. Contents will be hot! Take a spoon and scoop out the desired amount around the icecream and melted peanut butter. Open the package of Reeses peanut butter cups and break into small pieces and sprinkle on top of the icecream. Add whipped cream for the final topping. Other toppings you may enjoy are walnuts, pecans or dots. Just sit back and enjoy.
