One of the rights to the passage of manhood is that of shaving. It is a skill that can bond a father and his son together. This article will share, how to do this event.

Nobody can say, when is the right time for a boy to begin shaving. I suppose, when the peach fuzz is enough, he will decide that it is time for it to go.

Many individuals like to use an electric razor. However, the time will come, when he doesn't have an electric razor. So it is important that he knows the skill of shaving, with a straight edge razor.

Start with a plastic guard on the razor the first time. Let him lather down with a good soap like Barbasol. Then show him how to use short strokes for cutting stubble. It doesn't natter, which side of his face that he starts on. Around the nose and mouth areas, he has to get close, but must be careful. Until he gets more experience, he should also cut downward. When he is finished, let him use a hot towel to lean up.

The first time

When the day arrives, make sure that he has plenty of time in the bathroom. He will need it. Provide him with a good razor. The Gillette Mach 3 is an excellent razor to begin with. It provides for a smooth cut with no nicks. After that, the rest is on his own. When he is finished, again let him use a hot towel. You might want to recommend a good aftershave lotion for him to use. Let him know, in advance, that it will sting This is because of the alcohol content in it.

Shaving for the first time is a major event in a young man's life. Once he shaves for the first time, he will shave for the rest of his life. Most men like to shave in the morning. This is so they have a fresh appearance all day long. However, sometimes it is necessary to shave late in the afternoon to keep that appearance. Thus the term four o'clock shadow is used.

Like any other grooming skill, it will take countless repetition to get it correct.
