There are many beautiful places to see inside our country. Most people travel to resorts or amusement parks. Many individuals like to camp. However, there is one area that is growing fast. That area is bicycling. This article will explain how to set up your own vacation bicycling tour. Pick a route; You want a route that your group can physically handle. Many routes are well paved and marked. There are some that even have sight seeing areas to view along the way. Try to pick a route that allows for easy access ad breaks along the way. Reservations; If you are going to be staying overnight, make motel/hotel reservations in advance. Tell the manager that you are traveling by bike and might be late on arriving. Driver; Use a driver with a vehicle. If a bike breaks down, he can be carrying spare parts or tires. You can also carry a first aid kit, water, ice, and ponchos. It provides a break for a bike rider, that might need it. You will also have a vehicle, if an emergency would come up. Cellphones; Communication among riders is important. Each rider should have a cellphone or radio for communication of some type. Cameras; You need to have a camera with you so that you can document our trip. One camera should be enough. Water and Hydrating; Always have plenty of water, so that the riders can stay hydrated. Riders should know how to properly hydrate their bodies, before taking on any prolonged trip. Helmets, sunglasses, light weight clothes, power bars, water, and good shoes are very important for the biker. There are a lot of trails, that are set up strictly for bicycling, throughout the country. Thy provide for excellent fitness and viewing of our natural resources. Some of these trails even allow for camping along the way. Long tours are not for racing. They are for the enjoyment of those that participate. So this summer, try something that is more challenging.
