How to Find Information on Property / Value / Ownership

If you are looking to buy a home and want to find information about a specific piece of property, there is a simple way to do this and you can obtain a whole lot of information surrounding a piece of property and it’s totally free.

To get this info you need to know just one of the following: The owner’s name, the address of the property or the parcel id. After you have one of these pieces of information, do a search by typing in the county where the property is located followed by the word (auditor.)

The auditor’s website of that county will appear. They will give you the option to search for property using the ways I mentioned earlier. Let’s say you want to enter a street address, click on search by street address and a screen will pop up asking you to type in the address; type it in and press go.

Any information about this property will come up, including owner info, square foot, appraisal value, deed type, land value, and much more. This is very useful information to have if you are in the market to buy a home or piece of property; everything you need to know is there.
