How to Make an Amaretto Sour

Intro: Amaretto is a tasty almond-flavored liqueur. An amaretto sour is a sweet tasty drink which is easy to make.

Step 1: Gather your ingredients. You will need 1.5 ounces of amaretto, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and ¾ ounces of lemon juice.

Step 2: Wet the rim of a “sour glass” with lemon juice and dip it in the sugar until the rim has a coating of sugar around it.

Step 3: Add the amaretto and lemon juice to a shaker and shake well. Strain the mixture into the glass and add ice.

Step 4: Optional: Garnish your amaretto sour with a maraschino cherry or orange slice.

Tips: You can use sweet and sour mix instead of lemon juice.
