How to Make Plum Pie |

Intro: This pie can be a tasty treat which is different than the same old traditional pies. Follow these steps to make plum pie.
Step 1: To make plum pie, gather the ingredients. For your plum pie, you will need ½ cup of brown sugar, 14 blue plums, ½ teaspoon of cardamon, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and quick cooking tapioca, 1 tablespoons of butter, ½ cup of white sugar, a pie crust, and a pinch of salt.
Step 2: Cut the plums in half and remove the pits. Next, place about 3/4th of all your plums face down in the pie pan.
Step 3: To make plum pie, add the salt, tapioca, brown sugar, white sugar, and cardamon to a bowl and mix well. Sprinkle this mixture over the plums and shake the pan to spread the mixture around. Sprinkle a little butter and lemon juice on top of the plums and sugar mixture and then bake the plum pie at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
Step 4: After twenty minutes, you can remove the plum pie from the oven and place some decorate pie pastry deigns on top of the plum pie filling or just continue baking for about 20 minutes longer.
Step 5: After 40 minutes in the oven, your plum pie should be tender on the inside and brown on the outside. Let the pie cool for a bit and then enjoy!
Tips: Add some whipped cream when serving your plum pie.
You can remove the pie earlier if the crust is brown and the insides are tender.
