fading blue jeans We have all been through this at some point you go buy a brand new pair of blue jeans and wear them once or twice then after they get washed the color is never the same. I have learned a few steps on how to keep them nice. I hope this advice works for you. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day!!

StepĀ 1: Before washing them turn them inside out.

Step 2: Now turn the washer to cold water this will prevent the water from stripping the color out.

Step 3: They do sell detergents that help to prevent this, The one that I use is Woolite. It's great not to strong and still gets the job done.

Step 4: I don't dry them in the dryer either I have noticed that the dryer has a tenancy to fade them a lot.

Step 5: With my kids I sometimes encourage them to wear them twice before sending them to the hamper. This will help a little.

My blue jeans don't fade too bad but they often start to shrink after a lot of washes.

Times change. Wasn't that long ago only dorks who couldn't figure out how to use bleach wore dark jeans.
