Step 1: To check your FICO score for free, you should check out annualcreditreport.com which offers free credit reports. You can choose to get a credit report from TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian, once a year, for free. Step 2: Visit creditkarma.com to check your credit score for free. They will let you check your score through TransUnion daily. This score is slightly different from the FICO score but it still gives you a good idea on if your scores are improving or not.

 

Step 3: To check your FICO score for free, visit wamu.com and open a Washington Mutual Credit Card. After doing this, you will get your FICO score for free when you log into your account. This score is from TransUnion and is updated once a month.

 

Step 4: Visit credit.com, to see what your credit grade is. They will give you a letter grade such as A, A+, B, and etc. An A+ would be an 800+ FICO score. This isn’t an exact way to check your score but can help you get a free estimate.

 

Tips: To check your FICO score for free, you may have to sign up and give one of the above website your information but they are all reputable sites.

 

Warnings: Checking your score often is bad for your credit. Only check your score once every 3-6 months.
