Intro: The major expenses on any trip are typically the flight and hotel. By finding cheaper airline flights, you can spend more on a lavish hotel or just pocket the money. Follow these steps to find cheap airline flights.

Step 1: To find cheap airline flights, visit many of the online flight and hotel websites such as Orbitz, Travelocity, Hotwire, Expedia, and Priceline.

 Step 2: On these websites, you typically enter your destination, the day you want to leave, the day you want to come home, where you are going, and the airport you want to fly out of. Based on this information, these website will give you a list of the available flights, times, and prices.

Step 3: To find cheap airline flights, you should choose the top 3 cheapest flights listed on these websites. Find out what airlines are offering these flights and then visit the airlines websites to see if they offer the same exact flight cheaper from their website.

Step 4: For example, if you find the 3 cheapest flights are Southwest, Northwest, and Delta. Visit each of their websites and find the exact flight. Sometimes these airlines will offer it cheaper on their websites, to prevent you from using the travel sites such as Travelocity.

Step 5: To find cheap airline flights, don’t book the flight right away. Continually check the airlines website 3 times a day. Many airlines will drop their prices every few hours and bring them back up. Wait until the price drops and then book the flight.
