How to Make Coconut Custard Pie

Intro: This pie has been called the best tasting pie ever by fans. Follow these steps to make coconut custard pie.

 

Step 1: Gather the ingredients. You will need 1 cup milk, 1 cup flaked coconut, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon of flaked coconut, a pie crust, 1.5 cups of white sugar, and ½ cup of butter.

 

Step 2: Add the eggs, sugar, and butter to a large bowl and mix well with an electric mixer on low speed. Slowly blend the flour into this mixture. Then mix a half cup of milk at a time until all the milk is added.

 

Step 3: After the milk is mixed, add the vanilla and the cup of coconut, and mix well. Once mixed, pour your coconut custard pie filling into your pie shell in a pie pan.

 

Step 4: Add a tablespoon of flaked coconut across the top of the pie shell and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

 

Step 5: Let your pie cool and then enjoy!

 

Tips: Try blending the sugar and butter together before adding the eggs; you may prefer the texture this way.

 

Warnings: The coconut custard pie will be very hot when removing it from the oven. Be careful!
