How to Make Pineapple Pie

Intro: Pineapple pie is easy to make and tastes great. Follow these steps to learn how to make it.


Step 1: Gather the ingredients. You will need 1 cup milk, 1 tablespoon flour, ¾ cup sugar, 1 cup crushed pineapple, 2 eggs, a dash of salt, and a pie shell.


Step 2: Add the flour, sugar, and pineapple to a bowl and mix well.


Step 3: Add 2 egg yolks and the milk to the mixture and stir. Once mixed, let sit for 10 minutes.


Step 4: Pour the pineapple pie filling into the pie shell and bake for 30 minutes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit.


Step 5: After 30 minutes of baking, spread 2 beaten egg whites mixed with 2 tablespoons of sugar on top of the pie and bake for 5 minutes at 350 degree F.


Step 6: Remove the pineapple pie from the oven, let it cool down, serve, and enjoy!


Tips: Add some whipped cream to your pie when serving.


Warnings: The pineapple pie will be very hot when coming out of the oven; be careful!
