How to Choose Weight Loss Supplements

Intro: With a large amount of weight loss supplements on the market which one should you choose, if any at all? Follow these steps to choose weight loss supplements.

Step 1: A popular weight loss supplement is Bitter Orange. The claims are that this supplement will increase the number of calories burned but is may cause health problems and has unknown long term effects.

Step 2: Ephedra is one of the most popular weight loss supplements on the market but is dangerous and causes high blood pressure, seizures, heart attacks, strokes, and even death, although it will decrease your appetite.

Step 3: Hoodia is another supplement coming up in the ranks as of late. It will supposedly decrease your appetite although all studies have shown no evidence confirming that claim.

Step 4: To choose a weight loss supplement, you should really as yourself if it worth the risks involved?

Step 5: Chitosan helps blocks the absorption of dietary fat but causes constipation, bloating, is unsafe, and has unknown long term effects.

Step 6: One of the safer supplements, Guar gum, claims to block absorption of dietary fat while increasing your feeling of being full. The problem is that it may cause intestinal obstruction if you don’t take it with enough water and it can cause diarrhea along with other gastrointestinal problems. On top of all this, studies don’t even show that this weight loss supplement even works.

Step 7: Some naturally supplements many weight lifters take with their daily diets are flaxseed oil pills and fish oil pills. They contain healthy omega-3 fatty acids and can help reduce the risk of heart attacks and high cholesterol.

Tips: To choose a weight loss supplement, I recommend you way the pros, if any, versus the large amount of cons for almost every supplement.

If you are going to take something, then I recommend fish oil pills and flaxseed oil pills.

There is no magic pill, healthy eating and exercising is the best way to go.

Warnings: Weight loss supplements can cause heart attacks, diarrhea, death, and many more complications…Speak with your doctor before even considering taking one of these risking supplements.
