Intro: Drinking wine can relax you and provide you with numerous health benefits as long as it is done in moderation. Follow these steps to get the most out of your wine drinking and learn how to properly drink wine.  Step 1: Drink wine with the right kinds of food. Generally, white wine goes well with poultry and seafood while red wine goes well with red meat. Perform more research online to find what wines go with what foods.  Step 2: Drink wine from the right wine glass. You should use a larger wine glass when drinking red wine and when drinking wine at dinner. Use stemware to prevent your hand from warming up the wine.  Step 3: Serve wine at the correct temperature. Most people don’t pay attention to what temperature their wine is. Red wine should be served a little bit over 60 degrees F while white wines should be served slightly over 50 degrees F. Purchase a small wine refrigerator to help keep your wine at the ideal temperature.  Step 4: Smell the wine and appreciate the aromas before and during drinking the wine.  Step 5: Try decanting your wines. Decanting young wines can help release the aromas in the wine. Decanting old wines allows the sediment to remain in the wine bottle.
