Intro: Burning extra calories and getting a work out can be done during everyday activities. This article will help explain ways you can add some exercise to your daily routine without changing you lifetime. Follow these steps to do exercises with everyday activities.  Step 1: When driving to your work, the mall, the grocery store, and etc. you should park in a far away spot. Walking this extra distance can be some great cardio which only takes away a minute of your time. If you take the subway or a bus to work then get off at the stop before your stop and walk the rest of the way.  Step 2: When working, walk to the farthest drinking fountain to get some extra exercise. People with sit down jobs can sit at their desks for hours. Getting up for a walk is good for blood circulation and will help you get some exercise. Not to mention, drinking extra water everyday is going to make you healthier.  Step 3: Take the stairs. Every time you see an elevator, start looking for the stairs. Climbing a flight or two of stairs a day can burn a lot of extra calories and get that heart pumping.  Step 4: Help out with chores at home. Scrubbing down the bathroom can provide you with some good exercise. Chores can be a great exercise activity.  Step 5: Get a pet. Pets have a lot of energy and need to be walked and played with. Walking your dog and playing with him can help you get exercise everyday. If you don’t want the responsibility of a pet, you can volunteer at an animal shelter. Volunteers usually have to walk dogs and help clean. This can help you get a lot of exercise and make you feel good at the same time.  Step 6: Try to start an exercising routine with your everyday activities. It is tough to stick with an exercise routine especially when you have a job, kids, pet, and etc. Even when my life gets busy I still do a few push ups and sit ups every other day just to get my heart pumping for a few minutes.  Tips: Leave yourself a reminder to start including exercises with your everyday activities.  Try to do push ups and sit ups every other day before your morning shower.  Warnings: Don’t work out before bed, you may have a hard time falling asleep.
