How to Get a PayPal Account

Intro: To earn money writing articles on FireHow you will need a PayPal account. Follow these steps to sign up for your own PayPal account.

Step 1: Visit PayPal.com

Step 2: On the top of the website you will see a “Sign Up” link which is underlined. Click on this link and begin the sign up process.

Step 3: Choose either an individual, premier, or business account. If you are writing under a business name you should get a business account but if you are just an individual, like most people are, then you should sign up for a personal account.

Step 4: After you click “Get Started” you will have to enter your information, such as your email address, password, name, address, and phone number. Then click “Agree and Create Account.”

Step 5: Now you are all signed up and PayPal will send you a verification email.

Step 6: Once signed up, you can link your bank account to your PayPal account and directly deposit money from PayPal into your bank account and vice versa.

Tips: You can verify your PayPal account by letting PayPal make two small deposits into your bank account and then verifying those amounts with PayPal on your account page.

Warnings: Read through the fees that PayPal charges you. It is free to sign up and generally free to transfer money to your bank account and back, but sometimes they will charge very minor fees.

You don't need to do anything to be paid.
