dispose of christmas tree

Intro: Christmas is not Christmas without a real tree. Although getting a real tree is fun and exciting, there are downfalls that come with it. You will have to clean up pine needles and water your tree constantly. You will also have to dispose of your Christmas Tree properly. Follow these steps to find out how.

Step 1: Leave your Christmas tree at the curb so the garbage men can pick it up.

Step 2: Find out if your city or county has a special day where they come and pick up everybody’s discarded Christmas trees and chip them up for mulch.

Step 3: Take the tree yourself to have it chipped for mulch.

Step 4: You can keep your tree in your backyard and let it be a bird feeder.

How to Dispose of a Christmas Tree Step 5: Buy a living tree which has roots. After Christmas, plant it and watch it grow.

Tips: Always water your Christmas tree everyday.

Warnings: Wear gloves when bringing your tree in; pine needles can be sharp.

Be careful when handling your Christmas tree because it has sap which can get on your carpet and ruin it.
