Intro: Valentine’s Day has been around for a very long time and it has traditionally been a day to express your love and affection to your loved one with presents and by spending time with them. Follow these suggestions to have a great Valentine’s Day.
Step 1: Spend your entire Valentine’s Day or as much as possible with a loved one. Take your loved one out to dinner or cook them a special dinner at home. Watch a movie and cuddle with your loved one. Turn off your cell phones and computers for the entire day so there are not distractions.
Step 2: Buy your loved one some candy or chocolate. Pick up a box of chocolates or some sugary hearts with those special sayings on them.
Step 3: Instead of buying a card, try making a homemade one. Homemade cards can help you make your Valentine’s Day more special. Buying a card is not as romantic as making your own.
Step 4: Buy your loved one a dozen roses. There are many different color roses but red symbolizes love. If you have gotten red roses year after year for your loved one, you could try and pick up some yellow roses for the next Valentine’s Day and let your loved one know that you got yellow because yellow stands for friendship and you’re not only her/his lover but her/his best friend.
Step 5: If you are single, you can happily celebrate Valentine’s Day alone. Treat yourself to some relaxation and get a professional massage. You could also rent a bunch of movies and pig out all day.
Tips: If you can’t handle being alone on Valentine’s Day you should meet up with some other single friends and spend the day with them.
Warnings: Being alone of Valentine’s Day can be depressing. Rent comedy movies and try laugh. Invite friends over to join in on some laughter.
