How to Write a Letter to Santa Clause

Intro: Children from all over the world write millions and millions of letters to Santa Clause every year. Follow these steps to write a really good letter to Santa Clause and let him know what you would like for Christmas.

Step 1: Choose a nice piece of paper and a pen or pencil that you would like to write with. You can even use colored paper and markers to write your letter.

Step 2: Write your address at the top right hand corner of the page so Santa Clause will know where to bring your presents to.

Step 3: You should start you letter with “Dear Santa Clause,” and then include some information about yourself. Let him know if you were naughty or nice over the past year. Give Santa an example of how nice you are by thanking him for last year’s presents.

Step 4: List a few things you really want this Christmas and then sign your name at the bottom of your letter.

Step 5: Put your letter to Santa in an envelope and address the envelope to Santa Claus at The North Pole.

Step 6: Give an adult your letter to Santa Clause so they can mail it for you.

Tips: Have an adult make sure your spelling is correct so you can show Santa Clause how smart you are.

The local post office usually has a drop box for letters to Santa!

Warnings: Make sure you mail it at least a few days before Christmas to make sure Santa gets your letter in time.
